The 3rd China-Europe Manufacturing Forum Held in London

On June 14-15, the 3rd China-Europe Manufacturing Forum was successfully conducted by the Sino-European Manufacturing Club in London. At the same time, its parallel forums were set up in Cambridge and Munich. The aim of the forum was to present an outlook on the manufacturing cooperation between China and Europe in light of strategies related to the Belt and Road initiative.

600余位中欧制造业主管政府官员、企业家、技术专家、学者、行业媒体汇聚论坛,包括5家官方合作伙伴、41家媒体伙伴、58位演讲嘉宾、523位参会代表、32个国家代表。全球覆盖营销策略得以实施,381次报道、2647万观看次数、社交媒体覆盖260万,宣传价值达257万美金。The forum brought together more than 600 government officials, entrepreneurs, technical experts, scholars, and industry media representatives from the China-Europe manufacturing sector, including five official cooperative partners, forty-one media partners, fifty-eight speakers, 523 additional participants and representatives from thirty-two countries. Global marketing strategies were successfully implemented at the event, which achieved a publicity value of $2.57 million. In addition, 381 reports were published on the event, and it achieved 26.47 million views and generated 2.6 million posts on social media.

93% of the interviewees in the forum firmly believed that, as a formal forum on manufacturing for the international community, it successfully demonstrated its value for the manufacturing industry. 95% of respondents agreed that the forum gave them a deeper understanding about how manufacturing is changing our world. 88% of the attendees believed that London, Cambridge, and Munich were ideal locations for business development, and agreed that they would recommend the three cities to others. With their excellent layout and tasteful decorations the hotels in these cities provided the perfect venues for the events.

The forum discussions were largely focused on the following topics: "From leading the nation to leading the world--a second start-up for Chinese entrepreneurs"; "Chinese manufacturing strategy until 2025, British manufacturing strategy until 2050, new development in German industry 4.0"; and "Investment and mergers in China-Europe manufacturing". The main attendees delivered opinions and engaged in spirited discussions on these topics. The main guests were listed as follows:

Jason Xiang, General Secretary of the Sino-European Manufacturing Club, said that this event had achieved its social welfare goals and that sustainable development could be achieved by making donations to the Chinese Students and Scholars Association of Cambridge. Additionally, Xiang said that forums will be held in cities in China and Europe in June every year. The forum would be held in cities in China and Europe in June every year. Through events and projects such as summit meetings, forum discussions, the Global Cutting-Edge Technologies Launch Show, the technology M&A fund, the Smart Manufacturing Institute, and international visits, the forum aimed to promote manufacturing exchanges and cooperation between China and Europe and become the world's professional non-profit event in the global manufacturing industry.
