On June 14-15, the 3rd China-Europe Manufacturing Forum was successfully conducted by the Sino-European Manufacturing Club in London. At the same time, its parallel forums were set up in Cambridge and Munich. The aim of the forum was to present an outlook on the manufacturing cooperation between China and Europe in light of strategies related to the Belt and Road initiative.
93% of the interviewees in the forum firmly believed that, as a formal forum on manufacturing for the international community, it successfully demonstrated its value for the manufacturing industry. 95% of respondents agreed that the forum gave them a deeper understanding about how manufacturing is changing our world. 88% of the attendees believed that London, Cambridge, and Munich were ideal locations for business development, and agreed that they would recommend the three cities to others. With their excellent layout and tasteful decorations the hotels in these cities provided the perfect venues for the events.
The forum discussions were largely focused on the following topics: "From leading the nation to leading the world--a second start-up for Chinese entrepreneurs"; "Chinese manufacturing strategy until 2025, British manufacturing strategy until 2050, new development in German industry 4.0"; and "Investment and mergers in China-Europe manufacturing".
