SEMC Post-Doctoral Development Programme at Cambridge University's Homerton College Concludes Successfully

Sir Simon Woolley, Principal of Homerton College, University of Cambridge, attended the postdoctoral program's graduation dinner for the first time. Coinciding with the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, he exchanged festive greetings with the students.


Sir Simon Woolley is the first Black principal in Cambridge University's 800-year history and has been recognized and honored by King Charles III of the United Kingdom

During the program, students engaged in research discussions with renowned professors from Homerton College and Judge Business School. The curriculum covered strategic analysis and organization, fundamentals of artificial intelligence, innovative project management, green technology, social innovation, international law and industrial globalization, ESG principles, and more.

As part of the special postdoctoral research project, students visited Cambridge Science Park for in-depth research with applied companies.

During their leisure time, students punted on the River Cam with Cambridge University student representatives and were invited to visit King's College, where they paid tribute to the Xu Zhimo poetry monument.

Finally, Dr. Stewart, the director of the Homerton College postdoctoral program, attended the farewell dinner and presided over a solemn graduation ceremony, marking the successful conclusion of this postdoctoral research program.
